About Us

************************************************: Vocal Point was formed in 2004 by four members of the Monterey Bay Belles Barbershop Chorus. In fine art, a focal point focuses specifically on a point of interest which makes a canvas unique. The group chose to name themselves "Vocal Point" to represent their interest in this art-form and the cohesive BLEND that their unique and individual voices make together…the pinnacle of success in barbershop harmony. The group is comprised of chorus director, Kristen Thompson who sings Lead, Jane Heider-Samuels the group's Tenor, Eva McDonald on Bass and Laura Kershner who sings Baritone. Our repertoire includes classics from today and yesterday...including some old and new favorites.
